Lately flatbreads have become very popular, and I don’t know about you, but I just loooove them! But the right bread can make or break a flatbread pizza. Recently I saw someone buying these in the store, and it sparked my interest to make my own at home. I just threw together a few things I already had on hand, and it came out great!
1 Stonefire Naan, garlic flavor
1-2 tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 C Boar’s Head Everroast Chicken, shaved (any shaved or shredded chicken would work)
1 plum tomato, halved & sliced
1/4 C small onion slices, caramelized
1/2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Place flatbread on cookie sheet.
3. Brush flatbread with oil, just enough to coat.
4. Cover with cheese, then add chicken, tomato and onion.
5. Place in oven and bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 10 minutes.
